Yes, it is quite ugly, but I've never said I'm a designer...
Once again working with Perfect Fools I helped them out on the "Vision Widget" on In an Absolut World. It was my first AS3 project and it took some time to get used to but now I must say it rather nice to work with.
This time I worked with Perfect Fools to help them build a new website for the clothing brand Gina Tricot.
I helped Dread with building a new campaign site for the beer company Stella Artois. Actually it's three parts, but I only helped out on one of them. Since it was basically one big video player the challenge was to create a good loader for it, that buffered just enough to avoid breaks in the movie.
As the hotel chain Scandic Hotels upgraded their online booking system, they needed an interactive guide book for their employees and customers to teach them about all the new features. And this I helped Dread with.
After the egg game I assisted Great Works with a campaign site for Bridgestone, a new tire called Adrenaline which ended up in a video-packed site. Complete, with a pasta recipe...
Then I got the chance to help them (Dread) out with a section of the website for Kalles Kaviar. A whack-a-mole-style game where you hit the character Kalle in the head with a spoon when he comes out of an egg.
As the first project with Dread I got to do a small campaign for BMW. It was a flash campaign showing off their new 5,3,X3 and 1-series.
Working with Syrup NYC I did the flash actionscripting and its xhtml-based backend for the second version of GEs Ecomagination site.
This too with Syrup NYC but this time I didn't do any flash. I did the CMS for the website, and after choosing among different php frameworks i ended up using CakePHP and it's "railsish" MVC implementation.
An application with the goal to give the visitor an overview of the prices of apartments in the three biggest cities of Sweden. This time working with deasign I was working with the flash actionscripting and took on the challenge of getting flash to render a monster vector map as fast as possible.
As a final project for Hyper Island I worked on this. The idea was to make a tool for easy XML editing to simplify Flash site backends. It was made using Flex 2/AS 3 and using PHP for the backend.
This was a really fun project of which I was in charge of from the beginning to end, and I was, and still am, very satisfied with the result. Unfortunatly (and off course) it's only available to see by the employees of L'Oréal. But it was a pure Flash/XML project.
Very interesting project, with the results ending up both online and in the city of Turino, Italy. It was an interactive sculpture on a plaza in Turino which displayed messages and greetings by GE's employees all over the world. And there was also a flash application, where the employees could enter their greeting to the people of Turino, see statistics of the messages and also view live webcams streams of the sculture and the plaza. Unfortunatly also only available for the GE employees.
While working for Syrup NYC as an intern this was another of the projects I got to work on. It was a real challenge to do the "catwalk" of images. Before that I never had worked with any kind of trigonometry at all.
Actually the first project I got to work on as an intern was their own site. It even recieved some awards!
This started of as a project for school but ended up being a summer long project for me. I worked on the CMS, using PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS and also worked on the main site, but that got redesigned before launch.
I'm a simple guy currently stationed in the beautiful city of Stockholm but enjoying the freedom of the internet and work worldwide.
I do web related development, using tools like: XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, PHP, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, XML, Actionscript 1.0/2.0/3.0 (OOP), Flash Remoting, Flex, Subversion, Eclipse IDE, W3C-Standards, and more...
